Biofilms are very much a "buzz" word in wound care. Over the past few years there has been an abundance of information published about Biofilms and wound healing.

Non-healing or chronic wounds are challenging and costly. These wounds may also be impacted by a biofilm further complicating wound planning and healing outcomes.

This webinar will explore the concept of biofilms in relation to wound management. We will expel some of the myths related to biofilms and explore how biofilms relate to the wound infection continuum.

The webinar will also look at how to manage biofilms as part of the wound management plan including topical dressings to promote best outcomes.
