Course Content

This presentation is a general resource for Healthcare Workers. It provides information that all healthcare workers need to respond effectively to emergencies in their workplace and that all staff are trained in emergency response procedures. Knowledgeable health workers can respond quickly and efficiently, minimising emergency chaos and confusion. This ensures that critical actions are taken promptly.

Health workers are responsible for the safety and well-being of patients. In an emergency, they must know how to evacuate patients safely, including those with limited mobility or requiring life support. I need to update my skills and knowledge of this issue annually.
